Overview

The Square D HOMCGK2C is a mechanical generator interlock kit for compatible Homeline load centers that use a QOM2 frame main breaker. It mechanically prevents the utility main breaker and the generator backfeed breaker from being on at the same time. This is an interlock accessory, not a load center, circuit breaker, or automatic transfer switch.

  • Main-breaker compatibility: Designed for QOM2 main breakers rated 150-225 A.
  • Branch-breaker compatibility: Works with a Homeline 2-pole branch breaker rated 15-125 A; the generator branch breaker cannot exceed 125 A.
  • Load-center compatibility: Fits compatible Series S indoor NEMA 1 and Series S1 outdoor NEMA 3R Homeline load centers.
  • Exact exclusions: Not compatible with HOM60120M200PC or HOM60120L225PC.
  • Included parts: One interlock assembly and retaining kit, packaged as one clamshell kit.
